“I had the opportunity to go to Glasgow Theatre Royal to see Still Alice which is a play about a lady with early onset dementia. It was such a great reflection of such a horrible condition. Although most of us at Stewartry Care will deal with dementia / Alzheimer’s on a daily basis, we don’t always see the whole picture from beginning to end. A lot of our clients are well advanced when we get them, therefore we don’t see the transition. Still Alice is also out on book and film, so if anyone is interested in knowing more about this condition, I would highly recommend reading / watching this."
